Course Outcome:  

The Manual Jewellery Designing Course Level 1 will teach students the principles of designing and how to create designs using different techniques and guidelines. Students will learn about precious metals, the shape, form and texture of metals and an overview of different types of gemstones and their illustration. They will also gain an understanding of the role of settings in gemstones and learn to design with guidelines. The course will cover different types of jewellery including pendants, earrings, hand accessories, necklaces and rings. Students will also learn about the concept of flexibility, connectivity and manufacturing and will have the opportunity to work on projects, assignments and portfolio creation. Graduates will be prepared for various career paths, including roles as jewellery designers in manufacturer or retail outlets, jewellery consultants, influencers/bloggers, entrepreneurs and boutique owners.
